About Me
Education
I am a senior Animal Sciences student from the University of Florida, graduating this August 2024. With my undergraduate degree, I have focused my education on animal welfare and behavior, studying a range of species including livestock and wildlife animals. At UF I have also been a team member of the UF ANS Livestock Judging Team and Equestrian Western Team. Currently, I am studying at Sant'Anna Institute in Sorrento, Italy for Summer 2024.
Experience
During my time with the Sant'Anna study abroad program, I will be taking classes as well as participating in an internship program with the Marine Protected Area (MPA) of Punta Campanella. In my internship, I will work on biodiversity projects of Blenning fish populations in the large and small bay areas of Ireanto Bay. This species is a keystone species that is important of management and understanding of impacts on the MPA.
